Winston County's Oldest Living Female WWll Navy Veteran
June 12, 2007 - Miss Ida O. Burrell, 85, of Haleyville says she has lived in Haleyville since her discharge in January 1946. She served in Washington DC, Potomac Park for two years in Ship Service. When Miss Ida was discharged she returned home to marry Paul Barber. Her husband served in the U.S. Air Force. Thank you Ida for showing your pride!
